supervised consumption sites

Supervised Consumption Sites

Supervised consumption sites are clean, safe and legal facilities for people to consume pre-obtained drugs under the supervision of trained staff. These sites exist to reduce overdoses, provide sterile supplies (to prevent the spread of infectious diseases), test drugs, and administer first aid, if needed. They also increase treatment for substance abuse disorders.
